I own ideal dvd to avi -does it support of subtitles?
Help appreciated on how to convert a DVD to AVI and include the subtitles.

Yes. You may refer to http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/convert-dvd-to-avi.htm to learn how to do. When selecting subtitle, please just move your mouse to the subtitle column, then click it, and you can see all the subtitles of the current title there. Choose one from that list. Then you should get corresponding subtitle in the output file.
